The Women Empowerment Cell (WEC) at Gitanjali College of Physical Education is committed to promoting gender equality, dignity, safety, and the holistic development of women students. The Cell provides a supportive platform that encourages leadership, confidence, self-reliance, and active participation in academic, sports, and social initiatives. Through awareness programmes and skill development activities, the WEC empowers students to become responsible professionals and confident leaders in society.
Objectives of the Women Empowerment Cell
- To promote gender equality, respect, and equal opportunities for all students.

Major Activities

- Conduct self-defense training, health awareness, and wellness programmes.

- Celebrate International Women's Day and other gender-sensitization events.
- Encourage participation in sports, cultural activities, and community outreach programmes.
- Promote career guidance, mentoring, and entrepreneurship awareness for women students.
